Sign-in problems

Start from the message you’re seeing.

The Lead Source sign-in screen: a "Continue with Google" button, email and password fields, a "Remember me" checkbox, a "Forgot password?" link, a Sign in button, and an "Email me a sign-in link instead" option.

“Wrong password. Try again, reset your password, or sign up if you’re new here.”

Section titled ““Wrong password. Try again, reset your password, or sign up if you’re new here.””

This message appears for any failed email-and-password combination — so it can mean a mistyped password or a different email than you registered with. In order:

  1. Forgot password? → enter your email → use the reset link. If no email arrives within a minute (check spam), you likely registered under a different address — try the others you use.
  2. Or skip passwords entirely: Email me a sign-in link instead sends a one-hour sign-in link to your address.

Also check: caps lock, and whether you originally signed up with Continue with Google — if so, use that button.

”Too many sign-in attempts. Please wait a few minutes and try again.”

Section titled “”Too many sign-in attempts. Please wait a few minutes and try again.””

Wait a few minutes; request a reset link meanwhile if you’re unsure of the password.

Sign-in and reset links are single-use and short-lived. Request a fresh one — Forgot password? for a reset link, or Email me a sign-in link instead for a sign-in link.

”We couldn’t verify this request. Please try again.”

Our automated-traffic check didn’t clear. Reload the page and sign in again at normal speed; if you’re on a strict VPN or privacy browser profile, try a standard window.

Your account has two-factor authentication on and you’re on a device we don’t recognise. The code is in your email — enter it to finish signing in.

If you can’t receive email at your sign-in address at all, contact us from an address you can use, with your website domain, and we’ll verify you another way.
